Monitor disk space

Use the following procedure to monitor disk space if the Torrent Browser is not available, or you want to use a command-line utility:

Log into the server using an ssh client:


$ ssh ionadmin@ion-torrent-server 
$ password: ionadmin

Enter the df command to display partitions and disk utilization:

Most growth is seen in the /results directories, which is where Ion Torrent™ data are stored.

The Use% column indicates how much space is being used.

Note:

If there is insufficient space on the Torrent Server, data files are retained on the Ion PGM™ and Ion Proton™ Sequencers until space becomes available.
